Dirty Dog's House
built by:
Eagle Rock Realty

I was inspired to use leftover materials from projects long finished and to include some sustainable features such as passive solar and rooftop photovoltaic and a roof design with rain barrel water capture type feature. A survey of dog owners led me to include a circulating fan to keep the interior comfortably cool. I added some cedar edging for insect and rodent control. All but the solar panels were purchased in ...

Redwood Cabin
built by:
Toph Hennum

Redwood Cabin was inspired by the first dog I have yet to call my own. I tried to imagine what would be cozy for a family dog to curl up inside of, after a long day of getting pets. Keeping the owners in mind, I made the roof detachable for easier cleaning. Redwood Cabin will provide a warm, cozy space for your dog to lay their head and dream of squirrels.

A Family Affair
built by:
Montgomery Family

We built this doghouse with our family dog in mind. The house has a slanted roof to keep the sun off, an open doorway to make it inviting and a flower box as an added touch. We used mostly recycled materials and had the roofing supplies donated by Umbrella Roofing. This was a family affair. We had multiple design changes before we came up with the final piece. Our family loves it and hopes yours will too.
